Speed up booting Windows XP

You bored waiting for the process of booting? When you first install it already feels old. Moreover, if a lot of software already installed. There are ways to speed up booting on Windows XP, namely: Open notepad media and type del c:windowsprefetchntosboot-*.*/q and save as the name ntosboot.bat.

Press winkey + R or click start menu > Run, then type gpedit.msc >cklic ok. Then click and pen the Computer Configuration> Windows Settings> Scripts. Then, double-click Shutdown

On the Shutdown Properties window, click Add> Browse, and put the file “ntosboot.bat” and click Open.

click OK. then Press winkey + R or click start menu > Run, then type devmgmt.msc cklic ok. Double-click the IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers

Double-click the Primary IDE Chanel to open Properties

Click “Advanced Settings” tab, change Device Type column become “None” on device 0 and devices 1. Click OK.

After that double-click on Secondary IDE Chanel to open Properties. And do the same steps as before.
